Q: What is the difference between the part D4NA-412G and D4N-412G?


A: The D4NA-412G is considered an economical version of Omron's compact safety limit switch series. It features IP65 protection and a mechanical life of 10 million operations.

The D4N-412G offers a higher protection level of IP67 and an extended mechanical life of 15 million operations.


Mechanically and electrically are identical, with the same contact arrangement and mounting standards. However, for applications that require higher protection against dust/water or longer durability, the D4N-412G is preferred. 


Q: Where are these products available?

A: The D4N-412G is listed in Omron's global site considered the standard line. The D4NA-412G is only available in Omron China.
