FAQ - Is the connector between E3C-LD/LR/LDA series and E3C-LD*N/LR*N/LDA*N series compatible?

Q: Are the sensor head connectors and amplifiers from the E3C-LD/LR/LDA series compatible with those from the new E3C-LD*N/LR*N/LDA*N series? 

A: No, the old and new series are not compatible or interchangeable.

The sensor head connectors, as well as the connection of the amplifiers from the E3C-LD/LR/LDA series are 4 pin connectors (Fig. A). In the other hand, E3C-LD*N/LR*N/LDA*N series use a 6 pin connector (Fig. B).
