FAQ - Sysmac Studio VS Studio Lite

Modified on Fri, 7 Feb at 1:48 PM

Q: What are the differences between the Sysmac Standard edition and Sysmac Lite?

A: Depending on the PLC that user you will be working with, you can pick between a full software license or the lite version, wich is more economical. The Sysmac Lite version is made for small PLCs however if, as a user, you will be working with different series of the NX or NJ, the recommendation is to go for the Standard version.

Here are the units that can be controlled with each version. (Sysmac Stander version can work with any NX or NJ Series)

Sysmac Studio Lite edition only allows to open, edit, and synchronize projects for the following series:

  • NX1P2.
  • NX102.
  • NJ101.

Sysmac Studio Standard edition is compatible with all NX and NJ series, including:

  • NJ301.
  • NJ501.
  • NX502.
  • NX701.
