FAQ - Omron Vision Accessories manufactured by Third Parties

Modified on Fri, 26 Sep at 11:51 AM

Q: What does the prefix in some Omron vision accessory part numbers mean?

A: Some accessories used in Omron vision systems are manufactured by third-party companies and distributed by Omron. These parts often include a prefix in the part number that identifies the original manufacturer.

For example, CCS (Creating Customer Satisfaction, INC) or MWO (MidWest Optical Systems, INC):

  • MWO-LP415-25.5
  • CCS-AD-LDR-90B

If a datasheet or official documentation is needed, simply remove the Omron-specific prefix from the part number and search for the part on the original manufacturer's website.
