FAQ - MX2 and RX2 Series - Can One Inverter Drive Multiple Motors?

Modified on Fri, 7 Feb at 4:44 PM

Q: Can One Inverter Drive Multiple Motors?

A:

Yes, it is possible!

To ensure proper operation, select an inverter with a rated current that is greater than or equal to the total rated current of all connected motors, multiplied by a safety factor of x 1.1 (for continuous operation).

Additionally, verify that the maximum load remains within the inverter's overload capacity. Since built-in thermal protection cannot be used in this setup, it is essential to install a thermal relay for motor protection on each individual motor.
