FAQ – H3CR Twin Timer: Difference Between Flick OFF and Flick ON

Modified on Thu, 25 Sep at 10:29 AM

Q: What is the difference between Flicker Off start and Flick On start?

A: A twin timer means the unit allows you to set two independent times: tON (ON time) and tOFF (OFF time). In the H3CR-F, this is done using two dedicated knobs (orange for ON and green for OFF) plus unit/scale selectors for each time.

  • Flicker OFF start (Flick OFF):
When power is applied, the output starts in OFF and first runs tOFF. Then it switches to ON for tON, and repeats the cycle.  This behavior corresponds to models H3CR-F / H3CR-F8 (without the “N” suffix).

  • Flicker ON start (Flick ON):
When power is applied, the output starts in ON and first runs tON. Then it switches to OFF for tOFF, repeating the cycle. This behavior corresponds to models H3CR-FN / H3CR-F8N (with the “N” suffix).
