FAQ - What is the difference between AT and ST on E5@C Series?

Modified on Tue, 30 Sep at 4:35 PM

Q: What is the difference between AT and ST on E5@C Series?

A:  AT stands for automatic adjustment (Auto-Tuning).

•    When AT is set to ON, it will automatically adjust the PID parameters. After adjustment, AT will automatically turn off. If the external temperature changes or the set point changes, it will not re-adjust and will continue to control according to the original PID parameters.

ST (Self-Tunning).

•    When set to ON, it will automatically adjust the PID parameters if one or more of the ST stability conditions are not met. After adjustment, it will not automatically shut down. If the external temperature changes or the setpoint changes, ST will re-adjust the PID parameters to maintain control.
