FAQ – CX-P Literal Cannot Be Converted to Real Error

Q: When a CX-P project gives errors because literal values cannot be converted to REAL, there is a good chance that the project was created with the European comma (,) instead of the US decimal point (.)

A: There is a windows setting that can accommodate this different format

Control Panel / Clock & Regions / Region

Change region format to Finnish or other European Country

Click Advanced

Change to decimal to comma ,

Change list separator to semi colon ;

Change measurement to metric
