Summary/Issue Description

When installing the LVS software it is possible to get a windows program compatibility assistant pop-up message stating that, "A driver cannot load on this device" for the following drivers:

Driver: usbkey64.sys

or

Driver: lvdr45f.sys

Without these device drivers installed, customers will not be able to log into the LVS software or have access to the LVS USB camera.

Root Cause

This issue can possibly be caused by a new Windows 11 security settings called Core Isolation Memory Integrity.

Solution

Customer will need to review their computer security settings.  The current work around is to disable the Core Isolation Memory Integrity setting. This setting can be found in the Windows settings at Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation details.
