TN - Why should I "archive" my AutoVISION job?

An AutoVision job is saved by default as an ".avp" file. 



There is another type of file when you "Archive" the job which creates an ".avz" file





Solution

In order to help customers troubleshoot issues, Technical Support may request the Archive Job file (AVZ) because it contains the AutoVISION job, and all the additional support files (ex. Font Library for the OCR Tool, Images, Locators, etc.) used by that job. 



Date/Revision History

Track the changes made to the document over time. Include dates and a brief summary of each update or revision. 

Ex.

First review 8/3/2024 V1.0

2nd review 9/3/2024 V1.1
