CJ2M-CPU11 with CJ1W-EIP21S can connect only through "Secure Comm" through Change PLC selection

Summary/Issue Description

You can only connect CJ1W-EIP21S through "Secure Comm" by selecting File then New in Cx Programmer and

manually selecting Network Type = "Secure Comm"

Root Cause

Customer would want to connect automatically by Selecting PLC then Auto Online and Finally Ethernet/IP Node Online.

Solution

You have to manually select Network Type = "Secure Comm" by using Cx Programmer File then New and populate Change PLC Network Type . The following CJ1W-EIP21S_proper_access exhibits the proper method of Secure Comm while CJ2M_CPU11_with_CJ1W-EIP21S videos show the incorrect way.
