Q: How can I activate a Traditional and Expanded Sysmac Studio license?

A: After installing the software, identify the type of license in order to activate Sysmac Studio:

• Traditional Sysmac Studio License Key: only contain numbers.

Example: 1234-1234-5678-5678

• Expanded Sysmac Studio License Key: contain both letters and numbers.
  

Example: AAAA-A123B-AAAA-A23B

1. Activation for Traditional Sysmac Studio License type:

Activating a traditional Sysmac Studio is achieved by opening the software and clicking “License”, located in the lower-left corner of the screen and entering the License Number.

2. Activation for Expanded Sysmac Studio License type:

For a expanded License the License Manager tool will be necessary, this is included when downloading Sysmac Studio.

1. The first step is to Register as a user on the License Portal: https://license-user.automation.omron.com/

2. Open the License Manager tool, click on "Registration" and use the registration information entered in the License Portal.

3. Once registration is complete the assignment for administration rights will be assigned as well, and an email will be generated to confirm the activation.
