TN - NE1A Discontinuation

Summary/Issue Description

This document will explain the future of the current safety processors as the NE1A and the new series of safety controllers, NX-Safety.

Root Cause

Since the clients are still asking for license on the NE1A and accesories, is important to let them know the actual changes and the next steps to follow based on the discontinuation of the NE1Ait 

Solution

Inform users of the NE1A that it will be discontinued, but OMRON provides an alternative as the NX-Safety series. If we get any calls or questions about this product, please make sure you notify them we are discontinuing the product in March of 2026. 

*Note: 

There is no recommended alternative product for DeviceNet Safety as a safety communication.

In the NX-Safety Series, please consider the recommended alternative product according to the desired network.
