TG - G9SP Drivers updated.

Purpose

Fix the main connection error for the G9SP, which usually has to do with drivers.


Problem Explanation/Objective

The G9SP is utilized to control large-scale of safety equipment. This software can provide us an error of “Interface cannot connect” and most likely the drivers aren’t updated at the moment of trying to connect to the equipment.

  • G9SP Controllers


Requirements

•G9SP controller 

•CP1W-CN221 (Cable)


Procedure

  1. Connect the G9SP via USB cable.
  2. Try to connect to the G9SP and it will show the interface error. *1
  3. Open the device manager and select the G9SP that will show as OMRON-PLC
  4. Right-click on “Update driver software” and select Browse from my computer.
  5. Point the address to the OMRON folder where the G9SP Configurator is installed.
  6. Select the USB folder and click on “Include subfolders”
  7. A new window will pop on the screen and press “Install”
  8. Once it is finished try the connection again and it will work.
