FAQ – Error Code 39 and Omron Drivers on W11

Modified on Tue, 14 Oct at 8:37 AM

Q: How can I correctly install Omron USB Drivers for NE1A, G9SP, and Inverters on a W11 machine, when the driver installation fails with error code 39?

A: Windows 11 Security features Core Isolation through Memory Integrity with the use of Hypervisor-protected Code Integrity (HVCI).  HVCI is tasked with preventing unsigned or untrusted drivers from being loaded into the system.

If an Omron Driver conflicts with HVCI, Error Code 39 will appear, and the driver will not install properly.

In order to install the driver, please disable Memory Integrity under Core Isolation and reinstall the drivers.
