FAQ – Why is NJ EtherNet Port 44818 Closed

Modified on Tue, 14 Oct at 8:33 AM

Q: Why do I get 44818/tcp closed EtherNetIP-2 on my NJ V1.49 or greater

A: One reason that the port may be closed would be if Do Not Use option for the CIP message server is selected.

I found this in NJ/NX built in EIP port Manual (Section 7-3)

Default is USE (Section 4-7)
