Purpose
This guide explains how to properly connect an F3SG Light curtain with any type of relay for an ON/OFF application.
Problem Explanation/Objective
For clients that are having problems with the light curtains and don’t know if is the light curtain fault or an application fault they can follow the next diagram and connections to test the curtain.
This is a simple ON/OFF with auto-reset and no EDM use since we are only looking to make sure that the equipment is working.
Supported devices
- F3SG-SR Series
Requirements
- Screwdriver
- Root-Straight Cable for F3SG-SR (Emitter - F39-JG3C-L , Receiver - F39-JG3C-D)
- F3SG-SR Light Curtain
Procedure
- Unscrew the cover for each light curtain to then screw the cable for the receiver and emitter.
- Follow the connections that will be presented next.
