Purpose
This document will have a brief explanation of how to connect to the F3SG-SR/PG Series via Bluetooth.
Problem Explanation/Objective
Incorrect wiring or an excess of cables can lead to errors and confusion in big applications or sometimes, clients need an easy setup of safety applications with specific light curtains. In this file, we will explain how to connect to an F39-SGBT for an efficient project.
Supported devices
- F3SG-SR/PG Series.
Requirements
- F3SG-SR/PG Series.
- F39-SGBT (Bluetooth unit).
- F39-SGIT-IL3 (Intelligent tap).
- F39-JGR3K-D / F39-JGR3K-L (Connector cables)
- F39-JG3B-D / F39-JG3B-L (Extension cables)
- F39-JGA-D (Power cable)
Procedure
- When you change the settings by using SD Manager 3, turn Positions 1 and 2 as shown below in the intelligent tap.
- Connect the Bluetooth communication unit with the Intelligent Tap.
- Confirm that the Bluetooth communication unit is connected with the Intelligent Tap correctly, and turn ON the power to start up the F3SG-SR/PG and Intelligent Tap.
- Right-click the [Start] button of Windows, and click [Devices] on the [Settings] menu.
- Click [Bluetooth & other devices] and click [Add Bluetooth or other device].
- On the screen to select the type of the device added, click [Bluetooth].
- Confirm that the installation of the device driver is fully completed. When the installation is complete, the message shown below is displayed.
